We had a rep in the other day,from a very well known =
distributor/manufacture and while showing what’s new brought out what =
they call a compensator sock.Basically this is a sheath with a two ply =
or so Cool max type material sewn into the distil third of the =
sheath.The idea being that if you need to tighten a bit distally but not =
global this would do the trick.
Well my question to her was,is their a “compensator sock” available that =
would do the opposite i.e. the multi-ply portion sewn proximal? she =
stated her company did not have one but wondered if such a sock would be =
useful.Well my expertise is technical and not so much clinical so I said =
I would post the question on the list and report your thoughts.
