I have been referred a patient who has recently suffered amputation of the third, fourth and fifth fingers of his dominant, right hand. He is more interested in regaining a good grasp than in a cosmetic restoration.
The third finger is amputated at the pip, the fourth and fifth are approximately eight and 4 mm in length from the m-p joint, respectively. Does anyone know of a functional, partial hand that can be used for this level and configuration?
