Dear O and P Listers,
Here in India there is a popular PTB prosthesis known by Jaipur
Foot since it has practically no metal components.
It’s low cost enables a wide BK amputees beneficial comfort wise, as
it is light weight and has further advantage of being completely
water resistant also without being invoked by metal detectors.
I need to be aware if there are already latest high strength Composites
components available that can be an alternative to knee hinges/hip joints
and various orthotic devices still using metal, or seeking manufacturers who
can custom fabricate these above componentry, NOT considering price factor
as
a barrier.
