“WEEKENDER BRACE”

Is anyone familiar with a “weekender brace”? A patient was referred to us

today with an rx for this. The pathology is avascular necrosis of the

lateral femoral condyle. I am unable to speak to the physician for

clarification. His nurse said a colleague (Orthopedist) suggested it.

Any help on manufacturer, biomechanics, etc would be appreciated.
