Dear Mr. Hoxie and members of steering committee:
The following series of questions was posted to AMP-L (an amputee
listserv at University of Washington) last week by one of our
subscribers. Some of us (amputees— consumers of product) have an
interest in the proposed consolidation of the various organizations now
under consideration. Somehow the answers to the questions escaped my
attention…
Was there a reply given? Are the questions not legitimate and/or worthy
of consideration? Please forgive my rhetoric but I am only an amputee
who is curious about the proposed direction of the prosthetists and
industry organizations since I suspect the proposed consolidation might
have a bearing on my future ability to pay for my prosthesis…hence my
ability to walk.
