Dear List:
This is a message only for those of you participating on Wednesday 3rd
of March, in workshop # 9, “Installing of and designing with ipocad I”
at the AAOP meeting in New Orleans.

Since we do not have the addresses of the registered participants we
would like you to receive important information this way:
Please bring yor lap-tops.
The course is not primarily geared toward patient
measurement and check socket fit. It is geared toward installing a
(free) software package for CAD design on your personal lap-top and to
teach you how to use it.
For this reason you want to bring your lap-top in order to maximize your
gain from this course.
Lap-top requirements:
CD Rom drive (you’ll need it – the software is on a CD)
Windows 95 or windows 98 installed.
40 Mb RAM or better
100 MHz or faster
Settings:
Color: High color, 16 bit
Screen: 800×600 pixels
If you are not sure about the configuration of your lap-top – never mind
–
bring your most recent and updated lap top (make sure about the CD Rom
drive however) and we will find out about your settings. The
installation should not create any problem with any of the “newer”
systems (lap tops not much older than two years).
Those of you, who have no lap-tops but a personal computer, may
want to participate anyway and receive their copy of the ipocad I
program in the mail for a later installation.
Thank you for your time – I look forward to seeing you all.
