Dear fellows,
I have a male patient,from a friend of mine that does not speaks english
and asked to search at the internet for sugestions; that is a olympic
medalist on a sailing class that has just been crushed by a motor boat
resulting on a transfemural amputation on the right side.He has already been
invited to be the new “coach” of the olympic brazilian team and obviously
he will try to stay as close to the sea as he can.What would be your
sugestions for prosthetic components?
Do you have any patient that used to sail?
Do you have any experience with any kind of special components for this kind
of sports?
