Kennedy is co-owner of Hersco Ortho Labs and brings extensive expertise in pedorthics, foot and lower-limb biomechanics, orthotic design and fabrication, and digital manufacturing technologies. A mechanical engineer by training, he has contributed to the profession through numerous articles, book chapters, presentations, and interviews and is frequently consulted by O&P practitioners and physicians on complex cases.

“JPO has experienced significant growth in manuscript submissions addressing pedorthics and foot and ankle biomechanics, highlighting the importance of having recognized experts on our editorial board who can provide leadership and scholarly oversight in these areas,” said Steven A. Gard, PhD, editor in chief, JPO. “Séamus is a well-known and respected pedorthist in the O&P profession, and I have had the opportunity to draw upon his expertise in the peer review of numerous manuscripts. His knowledge, experience, and professional standing make him an outstanding addition to the editorial board.”
