Össur, Reykjavik, Iceland, has acquired Dothan Brace Shop, Dothan, Alabama.
The transaction was reported to have totaled nearly $1.5 million and closed on August 17.
Össur declined to comment on the transaction, said David McGill, manager of US Clinics for the company.
Dothan Brace Shop opened in Alabama in August 1967. It has grown to offer a full range of orthotic, prosthetic, and mobility equipment.
