OTWorld issued a call for papers for its 2026 World Congress, being held May 19-22, 2026, in Leipzig, Germany. The global event focuses on progress, knowledge transfer, and interdisciplinary exchange in modern orthopedic treatment and care. Contributions can be submitted online until September 28.
Prosthetists and orthotists, orthopedic footwear professionals, physicians, engineers, and therapists are invited to present scientific studies, technical contributions, case studies, or treatment cases as a lecture or ePoster.
Following anonymous peer review, the accepted contributions will be integrated into thematically appropriate sessions by the program committee.
“Our aim is to work together to ensure global standards and drive innovation forward, thereby improving the quality of life of people with physical limitations,” said Doris Maier, MD, and Thomas Münch, the OTWorld 2026 Congress presidents. Maier is the chief physician and head of the Centre for Spinal Cord Injuries and Neuro-Urology at the BG Unfallklinik Murnau. Münch is the managing director of the Münch und Hahn.
