Since we’re into the fourth quarter of 2025, what better time to start planning professionally for the coming year? With a focus on business operations, Scott Williamson started it off with his latest post in EDGE Advantage Sifted: “As we close out 2025, it’s time to assess not only how well we executed our strategy but also how well our people remain aligned with their roles.”
Following his lead, we asked first about business-related goals: What steps can you take to keep your business successful in 2026? 33 percent said it’s vital to keep the focus on patients, 25 percent said fostering innovation keeps a business healthy, 25 percent said good business sense means investing in employee development, and 17 percent said keeping a positive company culture is important.
The second part of the poll focused on personal development: What steps can you take personally to prepare for 2026? Of those who responded, 40 percent think getting organized would be a good way to start the new year, 30 percent said they would like to create a wellness plan, 20 percent said a good way to prepare for a new year is to review the current one, and 10 percent said they plan to make a bucket list for 2026.
