For our poll question about who their favorite was to win the Super Bowl, 50 percent of those who responded said they weren’t cheering for either team; 25 percent said they were rooting for the Bengals, including one responder who said though she had tickets to the symphony, she added, “Hopefully I will get home in time to see the Bengals win!” Six percent of those who took the poll were cheering for the Rams to win it all, and 19 percent said they planned to watch the Olympics instead. Twitter poll results showed that 100 percent of respondents said they wanted the Rams to win.
Speaking of the Olympics, our poll last week on the Winter Paralympics asked, “What’s your favorite winter sport to watch?” Sixty-seven percent said snowboarding and skiing; 22 percent said ice hockey, and 11 percent said wheelchair curling. Twitter poll results were split evenly between snowboarding and skiing and ice hockey as the favorites to watch.
And speaking of our polls, in the March issue of The O&P EDGE, we highlight O&P graduates who offer advice to the students who will follow behind them. Almost every student can remember a time in their college days of receiving helpful hints of direction and information from a teacher, counselor, or other school mentor.
Our question—What was the best advice you received while getting your O&P training?—is up and in full swing.
Tell us what you think. We’d love to hear from you.
