Skills for Life 6 has been postponed from 2021 until October 5-9, 2022. Skills for Life workshops are designed for people with bilateral upper-limb loss and are normally held every three years.
“Knowing many of our attendees have compromised immune systems, we were not willing to take the risk of holding an in-person meeting in 2021,” said Shawn Swanson Johnson, OTR/L, founder and executive director of Enhancing Skills for Life.
The organizers plan to offer a virtual event during the during the original workshop dates, October 13-17, 2021, with details to be announced by early 2021.
