Coapt, Chicago, announced that Gerald Stark, PhD, MSEM, CPO/L, FAAOP, has been named director of clinical innovation. His role will be to foster the relationship between Coapt and clinical professionals, and enhance the support, efficacy, and education surrounding the company’s myoelectric upper-limb system. Stark has more than 25 years of experience in prosthetics and education, including roles at Ottobock, Austin, Texas, and Fillauer Companies, Chattanooga, Tennessee. He will remain a faculty member at Northwestern University and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
