iOrthotics Australia, headquartered in Queensland, Australia, and Hersco Ortho Labs, Long Island City, New York, have partnered in a joint venture to launch iOrthoticsUSA, Astoria, New York. a central fab printing hub that will supply custom orthotics to orthotic labs. iOrthoticsUSA, located in Astoria, New York, has invested in HP Fusion Jet technology.
“3D printing allows greater design flexibility than traditional production methods, all while reducing landfill waste by over 95 percent,” said Dean Hartley, iOrthotics Australia company director. “We have invested heavily in ensuring superior part quality and partnered with university institutions to validate our printed orthotics.”
