Cascade Orthopedic Supply, Chico, California, has moved its east coast distribution center to a larger facility located at 360 Steel Way, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. According to the company, the move is meant to accommodate increased inventory levels due to the addition of 24 major suppliers since 2006 and a five-year growth pattern.
“We’re excited about the growth of the business we have experienced and see the upsizing of both distribution facilities in the past year as real positives in challenging market conditions,” said president and chief financial officer, Jeff Collins. “A number of key strategic initiatives executed successfully in the last five years are paying dividends, and growth expectations will be well supported with the additional distribution space now available in Lancaster.”
