The Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) earned two Stevie® Awards on February 24 in Las Vegas. A gold award was given to Cynthia Tolson, BOC’s business development manager, for Business Development Professional of the Year, and a bronze medal was awarded for the Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year.
Tolson was hired in November of 2014 to spearhead a new business development unit. In the entry submission for customer service, the company cited its operational efficiencies designed to improve the customer experience.
“I am proud of the quality customer service BOC delivers to its customers and also of Cynthia, who has made such a positive impact on BOC’s business goals,” said Claudia Zacharias, MBA, CAE, BOC’s president and CEO. “BOC has garnered five coveted Stevie Awards over the past four years. The fact that now we are recipients of two more is a heartening affirmation of our commitment to customer service, something we strive to uphold every day.”
The Stevie Awards honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. They received more than 2,300 nominations this year.
