The Australian Orthotic and Prosthetic Association appointed Julia Hibma, CPO, as its accreditation and certification manager.
Hibma has worked as an orthotist in public, private, metropolitan, and regional settings within Australia and the United Kingdom. She has held an O&P clinical advisor role and co-owned private enterprises. She first joined the association in 2019 and was tasked with leading the development of the consumer experience program, and more recently was the member engagement coordinator.
