Miller Prosthetics, with facilities in Ohio and West Virginia, won a $9,000 grant to support its Amputee Center programming, which provides physical and emotional health services for patients adjusting to life after limb loss.
The grant came from the Memorial Health Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, that distributed $38,500 in its first 2023 grant cycle. The foundation is part of the Memorial Health System that serves southeastern Ohio and northwestern West Virginia. The money went to local projects and initiatives to enhance public safety, improve healthcare access, and promote the well-being of the region.
“As chair of the grants committee, I am thrilled to witness the positive impact these grants will have on our community,” said Amy Elliot, who is vice chair of Memorial Health Foundation. “The selected projects align with our mission to enhance the quality of life for all residents, and we look forward to seeing the transformative results they will bring.”
