Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, headquartered in Exton, Pennsylvania, announced that Brett M. Rosen, CPO, and Cody Smith, MSPO, have joined its patient care facility in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Rosen is a second-generation clinician. He graduated from Florida State University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and earned his prosthetics and orthotics certificates from the Newington Certificate Program, Connecticut, and completed his O&P residencies at Hanger Clinic, West Palm Beach, Florida. Rosen was an area clinic manager for multiple Hanger Clinics in south Florida for the last five years.
Smith studied biomedical engineering at the University of Rochester. While in Army ROTC, he completed an internship at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, which led to his choice of a career in O&P. Smith earned a master of science degree in prosthetics and orthotics at the Georgia Institute of Technology and completed his orthotics residency at Atlantic Prosthetics and Orthotics, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is completing his prosthetics residency and serving as an orthotics practitioner at Ability P&O.
