The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) recognized members with awards for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the O&P profession. The awards will be presented during the 49th Academy Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium, being held March 1-4 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Titus Ferguson Lifetime Achievement Award
This lifetime achievement award is intended to be the highest level of recognition bestowed upon an outstanding Academician whose accomplishments and contributions have made a significant impact on the growth and development of the profession.
Pat Prigge, CP, LP, FAAOP(D)
Distinguished Practitioner Award
This award recognizes members who have distinguished themselves through their dedication and leadership to the advancement of the O&P profession. This individual must have demonstrated a record of sustained contributions and commitment to advancing the ideals of the Academy and the profession.
Bob Silvestri, CPO, LPO
Clinical Creativity Award
This award is intended to recognize those Academy members who have quietly demonstrated a commitment to The Code of Professional Responsibility and to improving the professional image of the O&P profession to patients, co-workers, and colleagues.
David G. Wilson, MPO, CPO, LPO, FAAOP
Outstanding Educator Award
This award is intended to recognize an educator that has demonstrated unique didactic or laboratory skills that create a positive and permanent impression on their students.
Todd Farrell, PhD
Research Award
This award is intended to recognize those members performing the most outstanding research in the field of O&P.
