Joe Fairley, CPO, CEO, Ascent Fabrication, recently left his role as business development manager of digital solutions at Proteor Print.
While with Proteor Print, Fairley designed and developed an FDM 3D-printed lower-limb definitive prosthetic socket, which surpassed three million cycles for a patient weighing up to 275 lb. Additionally, he was involved with planning and initiating a central fabrication offering solely dedicated to 3D printing, the Digital Fab or DFab.
“I appreciate the time spent with my Proteor colleagues during this development work, and I am looking forward to what is to come through Ascent Fabrication’s growth and new offerings,” he said.
