Biomedical startup Adapttech, Birmingham, England, announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with Cascade Orthopedic Supply, Chico, California, to distribute Adapttech’s lower-limb prosthetic socket fitting system, INSIGHT. Under the terms of the agreement, Cascade will provide INSIGHT through its distribution network across the United States and Canada.

Adapttech conducted studies of the system for health, function, satisfaction, and pain level at De La Torre Orthotics and Prosthetics, Pittsburgh; and Prosthetics & Orthotic Associates, Middletown, New York.
