Curbell Plastics, Orchard Park, New York, has acquired Nationwide Plastics, Arlington, Texas, for an undisclosed price. Nationwide Plastics is a full-service distributor with extensive plastic part fabrication and precision machining services, including CNC plastics machining and several types of plastics molding and processing.
The purchase will allow Curbell to expand into Texas and Mississippi and strengthen its shipping and fabrication capabilities at the national level, according to the press release.
Nationwide employs more than 50 people at sites in Arlington, Houston, and Jackson, Mississippi; the additional sites gives Curbell 22 locations. The two Arlington locations will eventually combine to form the largest Curbell Plastics branch. For the immediate future, Nationwide will operate as a division of Curbell, officials said.
