Dankmeyer Prosthetics & Orthotics, Maryland, will mark its 70th anniversary on September 29. Charles “Herb” Dankmeyer, who had bilateral transtibial amputations, founded the company in Baltimore in 1954. Charles Dankmeyer Jr., CPO, took over the company in 1994 and moved it to Linthicum, Maryland.
The company has 11 ABC-certified practitioners on staff, a full-service laboratory, and four locations.
Clint Snell, CPO, president of Snell’s Orthotics & Prosthetics, marked 56 years with his Louisiana-based company.
The company has more than 100 employees with facilities in Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
