DJO Global, Vista, California, announced its plans to relocate its global headquarters from the San Diego, area to Dallas by early 2019. DJO’s bracing and supports business unit and consumer business unit will relocate to Carlsbad, California. DJO opened a distribution center in Fort Worth, Texas, earlier this year.
“We made the strategic decision to move our headquarters to Dallas to expand our presence into a market with a strong and larger pool of talent, gain greater and more efficient customer access, and take advantage of what we believe is a better corporate environment for our company…,” said Brady Shirley, president and CEO.
DJO Global announced earlier this month that it is being purchased by Colfax Corporation, Annapolis, Maryland, in a $3.15 billion cash transaction.
