Dralla Foundation announced the addition of Wendy Garrett of Turner, Oregon, to its review board. The board reviews grant requests and awards grants on an annual basis. With a diagnosis of foot drop after being hit by a car in 2011, Garrett completed the Abbott World Marathon Majors in 2018, a series of six of the most prestigious marathons in the world, while using an AFO.
“I am extremely honored to be joining Dralla Foundation as a board member. I’ve been the recipient of receiving support and assistance from various organizations that helped me gain confidence in my disability and allowed me to live my life to the fullest. I am so grateful for this opportunity to pay it forward.”Â
Garrett will join review board members Josh Ahlstrom, CPO, Darla Clayton, Erin Hoppe, and Beth Deloria.
The mission of Dralla Foundation is to make unforgettable days possible for adults and children with physical challenges by partnering with nonprofit organizations and providing funding to support their events.
