Like educational presenters, vendors are adapting as exhibit halls go virtual, using the new medium to introduce and educate attendees about their products. To visit booths in the hall, attendees select the desired exhibitor from the list, and then can choose options that include meeting with the exhibitor or entering the virtual tradeshow booth. Viewers can also select to request more information or start a conversation. Exhibitors’ pages offer a complete display of information about their products, including the latest market release and patient testimonials. Attendees can also listen to live interviews and register to win prizes.
Day three of the AOPA Virtual Assembly begins at 7:15 a.m. ET Friday with a general session and an AOPA membership meeting and awards program. The exhibit hall will be open as well. A host of workshops, roundtable discussions, and symposiums will also be held throughout the day, including a meeting on the timely topic of navigating O&P education and practice as a minority.
