The Orthotic and Prosthetic Foundation for Education and Research and the National Commission for Orthotics and Prosthetics Education (NCOPE) named the Larry Lange Travel Fellowship Award recipients for 2025.
The award provides $2,000 to two O&P residents to further their professional development in support of professional conference education and attendance. It recognizes the outstanding professional dedication, engagement, and leadership potential of a current resident or recent graduate of an NCOPE-accredited O&P residency program.
Recipients are:
Caitlin Bowman Martwinski, MSPO
“My journey as a pediatric orthotist/prosthetist is driven by a passion for research and a commitment to making a positive impact for both our littlest patients and the profession. The Larry Lange award will empower me to build on my current career momentum, facilitate my engagement with the broader community, and enable me to contribute to the field in meaningful ways. I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and grateful for the opportunity to further my career and our collective knowledge through this support.”
Avery-Claire Littleton, MSPO
“Winning the Larry Lange Award is an incredible honor. It affirms my commitment to combining clinical care with advocacy, education, and leadership. This award allows me to attend a national conference where the future of orthotics and prosthetics is being shaped in real time. As a resident, I’m eager to learn from experienced practitioners, engage with innovators, and bring that knowledge back to my patients and community. More than financial support, this award is a launchpad for deeper involvement and lifelong impact in the O&P profession—carrying forward the legacy of service that Larry Lange so passionately lived.”
