The Amputee Coalition of America (ACA), in partnership with
Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC), conducted a one-day
seminar July 19 to certify peer visitors for the military. A peer
visitor serves as a role model, offers emotional support, and
provides information about available resources to new amputees.
