Robin Burton has joined the staff of Prosthetics Research Specialists Inc., Bushnell, Florida, as customer service manager, the company announced recently. She has a bachelor of arts degree from Coker College, Hartsville, South Carolina. She brings 16 years of experience to the company from the funeral industry, where she worked with families daily to help them through some of the most difficult times of their lives. She will be working directly with customers, distributors, and sales representatives to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of orders from the company's growing list of products, PRS noted. Robin is the second Burton to join the Prosthetics Research Specialists Inc. family. Her husband, Michael Burton, is the general manager of the company. Michael has been active in the supply side of the O&P industry for 24 years. Michael says, "We wanted to hire the very best person available for this new position. In conversations with company owners Ronnie and Linda Graves, we kept saying that we wanted to find somebody like Robin. Finally, we determined that rather than finding somebody like Robin, we should just hire her." Says Ronnie Graves, "We are delighted to have Robin on our staff & having Robin on board is a key ingredient to our future success." Robin and Michael have three sons, all currently residing in different states. Robin says this gives lots of vacation possibilities and more places to search for Coca-Cola memorabilia, which she and her husband collect avidly. Robin is also active behind the scenes with the Orthotic & Prosthetic Assistance Fund (OPAF), which Michael serves as a board member.
