Christopher J. Brydges, CPO, has joined the Bangor, Maine, office of Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics as a staff prosthetist/orthotist. Brydges has been active in the O&P profession for 12 years. He was certified in prosthetics in March 1999 by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics (ABC) and was ABC-certified in orthotics in July 1996. Brydges received his certification to fit the Otto Bock C-Leg System in July 2002. Brydges also is a prosthetic lecturer at the Kennebec Valley Community College, Physical Therapy Assistant Program, Fairfield, Maine. Previously, Brydges was an orthotic lecturer at the University of South Carolina, Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program, Charleston, from 1995 to 1997. In 1992, Brydges received a bachelors degree in physical education and recreation (sports science)from the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. In 1994 he studied clinical methods in prosthetics & orthotics at George Brown College, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
