In a court-ordered mediation on December 8, 2003, Ossur North
America Inc. and Freedom Innovations Inc. agreed to settle all
litigation associated with the federal and state court cases. Both
parties expressed satisfaction with the settlement, the terms of
which are confidential, but which involve product licensing.
