The National Limb Loss Information Center (NLLIC), Knoxville,
Tennessee, recently announced the addition of a new TTY number for
the hearing-impaired. In accordance with the requirements of the
NLLIC grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC), Atlanta, Georgia, a TTY connection to the NLLIC was made
available for deaf or hearing-impaired individuals in January
2001.
