Roland Christensen, chairman, Freedom Innovations, Irvine,
California, announced that Maynard Carkhuff has been named
president and COO of the prosthetic manufacturer, effective April
1, 2005. Richard Myers, Freedom’s current president and COO, who
co-founded the company with Christensen, has been appointed
president and COO of Freedom Science & Technologies, a newly
formed research and development company and part of the Freedom
family of companies.
