Sarah Reinertsen, amputee triathlete who completed this year's Ironman Hawaii after a heartbreaking failure last year to meet the event's bike cutofftime by 15 minutes, continues to garner media spotlight for her outstanding achievement. Reinertsen, who is employed by Ossur North America, Aliso Viejo, California, and fellow employee Peter Harsch, CP, who also completed Ironman Hawaii, will be featured Sunday, October 30, on CBS' sports spectacular, "Arete Honors for Courage in Sports." Viewers should check local TV listings for time. NBC's special Ironman broadcast is slated to air on November 12 at 4:30 EST. The Learning Channel from Canada will feature Reinertsen for a special series scheduled to air in February 2006, called "Super Humans." Reinertsen finished in 15:05:15. Harsch, a regional clinical manager for Ossur North America, placed 80th out of 200 in what is considered the most competitive age group. He completed the event in 09:56:23. "These two remarkable individuals came under intense pressure, going against the toughest competition imaginable, with no margin for error," said Ossur North America President Eythor Bender. "They are true champions, and all of us at Ossur are fiercely proud to say that we know them."
