The Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics’
(ACPOC) 2006 Annual Meeting will be held May 17-20, 2006, at the
Hyatt Regency Sacramento, in Sacramento, California. The meeting
will be hosted by the Shriners Hospital for Children Northern
California, the flagship of the Shriners 22-hospital pediatric
healthcare system, including facilities for treatment, teaching,
and research. Pediatric specialty programs at the facility include
orthopedics, spinal cord injury treatment and rehabilitation,
emergent burn treatment and rehabilitation, and reconstructive
plastic surgery.
