Hanger Orthopedic Group Inc., Bethesda, Maryland, announced that
it has acquired the assets of Paris O&P Inc., a multi-site
provider of orthotic and prosthetic services with locations in
Paris, Greenville, and Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Hugo, Oklahoma.
“This acquisition is accretive to earnings and significantly
increases our market position in those locations,” Ivan R. Sabel,
Hanger’s chairman and CEO, said in a company press release. “The
transaction is consistent with our acquisition strategy to further
increase densities in certain areas and opportunistically expand in
attractive markets.”
