The National Council on Disability (NCD), Washington DC, will
release two reports on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at
a news conference at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, during its
quarterly board meeting in Chicago, Illinois. The news conference
will focus on the impact and implementation of ADA, including
review of a two-year retrospective study of the impact the ADA has
had on the lives of Americans with disabilities over the past 16
years. It also will look at the experiences and ideas of ADA
stakeholders from around the country, including small and large
businesses, employers, judges, governmental agencies, and
individuals with disabilities, among others.
