The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS),
Baltimore, Maryland, announced it is extending the deadline for the
first round of competitive bidding for suppliers of durable medical
equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies (DMEPOS) for an
additional 60 days. All bids are now due by 9 p.m. EST on Tuesday,
September 25.
