Children and adults will be kicking it–or anything–from 1-4:30
p.m. (EST) this Sunday, October 7, at the National Mall in
Washington DC to support those who can’t. “Kicking for Kids Who
Can’t” is a fundraising event to benefit the Limbs for
LifeFoundation, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Participants at the
kick-a-thon will boot, punt, or dribble anything from a soccer ball
to a tin can in order to raise money and awareness for the
organization that works to provide prosthetic limbs to young
amputees.
