A new version of the oandp.com home page launched October 23. The updated home page brings the popular Hot Off the Press news section back to the forefront, with additional editorial content supplied by The O&P EDGE and other sources featured directly below it.
One of the most notable additions to the home page is the inclusion of video to the content mix. “We wanted to explore different avenues in delivering content to our readers,” said Tonja Randolph, publisher of The O&P EDGE. “Among other things, our meeting coverage will now include video content that highlights the buzz at select national meetings and conferences.” In addition, practitioners are invited to submit clinical and technically oriented video content for inclusion on oandp.com
The changes are more than just skin deep, according to oandp.com and The O&P EDGE. Both the Product and Service Directory and the O&P Facilities Directory have received upgrades as well. “Manufacturers and O&P facilities now have the option to upgrade their listing to include video of their product or a virtual tour of their facility,” said Becky Seely, director of sales at The O&P EDGE.
Visited about 42,000 times per month, oandp.com is the online home of The O&P EDGE magazine, the OANDP-L listserv, the O&P Virtual Library, and the Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Rehabilitation Humanitarian Database.
Planned future enhancements to oandp.com include the incorporation of several industry-specific blogs with RSS capability.
