The Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund (OPAF) and The First Clinics were recently awarded two grants in separate award ceremonies.

The first grant was presented by the Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation, which awarded a $1,000 grant to OPAF to continue the work of the First Clinics. OPAF was one of 36 grantees by Wachovia in the greater Philadelphia region.
The second grant was presented by Foundations Community Partnership, which awarded OPAF and First Volley $3,000 to continue the First Volley Adaptive Tennis Clinics in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The grant was one of 13 grants awarded in a ceremony in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Robin Burton, OPAF Executive Director, along with Darren Kindred, First Volley Director of Tennis accepted the award on behalf of OPAF.
