Gabe Cabasaan has been named the new Central region sales representative for its orthopedic services team.
“We are pleased to have Gabe join our sales force, and we look forward to him making an immediate impact in his region,” said John Friedman, chief marketing officer for orthopedic services. “His years of professional experience in the industry, along with his healthcare-focused education, have allowed him to hit the ground running in his new position.”
According to an Otto Bock press release, Cabasaan has a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Grand Valley State University, Allendale, Michigan, and more than 12 years of medical sales and service experience in the healthcare industry, including sales in physical therapy/rehabilitation equipment and supplies, DME, and respiratory pharmaceuticals in West and Central Michigan.

Matt Read
Matt Read has been promoted to the position of orthopedic services sales representative for the Denver and Vail, Colorado, areas. Previously a patient service representative (PSR), Read has more than a decade of experience in management, sales, and customer service.
“Matt’s responsibilities as a PSR included the daily setup of various Otto Bock continuous passive-motion machines and other durable medical equipment in hospitals and homes, and it was also his responsibility to educate patients and hospital staff on their use,” Friedman said. “His extensive knowledge of the products and his proven customer service skills made him a natural choice for promotion.”
Read has a bachelor of arts degree from Ottawa University, Kansas, and a master’s of science and education in sports management from the University of Kansas, Lawrence.
