Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics, Peoria, Illinois, has named Jim Andreassen as its chief operating officer. Andreassen has more than 20 years of experience in the O&P profession.
Andreassen was a past president of the Orthotic & Prosthetic Group of America (OPGA), Waterloo, Iowa. Prior to that he held several positions at Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics, a division of Hanger Orthopedic Group, Bethesda, Maryland, serving as Midwest market leader, the Iowa-area practice manager, and a director of operations for the Midwest region. Andreassen began his O&P career as business manager for the former Dale Clark Prosthetics, Waterloo, Iowa. He has a bachelor of business administration degree in business management from Iowa State University, Ames.
