The program committee for United Forum of the Americas is currently accepting abstracts for the Working Together for a Better World conference, to be held February 13-16, 2011, at the Ramada Plaza Herradura, San José, Costa Rica. The committee encourages abstract submissions from engineering, medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, and O&P.
The 2011 United Forum is a partnership between the U.S. National Society of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (USISPO), Uniting Frontiers, The O&P EDGE, and the national member societies of Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic. According to the conference website, the program will offer “a forum for integration, accessibility, education, and resources for physical rehabilitation specialists.”
The deadline for abstract submissions is August 15, 2010. Abstracts can be submitted online at www.reachingbeyondourborders.org
