OrPro and Prosthetic Care announced the merger of the two companies, effective July 31. Combined, the companies operate 14 patient care facilities, two central fabrication centers, one central billing operation, and a central administrative office.
“We believe that by combining these two solid companies, we are in a much stronger position to facilitate future growth,” said Michael Hamontree, president of OrPro. “Our goal is to identify external growth opportunities through acquisition as well as expansion into underserved markets adjacent to or near our current markets.”
OrPro is based in Irvine, California, and operates patient care facilities in Dayton, Middletown, Centerville, Springfield, and Piqua, Ohio; Richmond, Indiana; Texarkana, Texas; and Greenbelt and Waldorf, Maryland. Prosthetic Care operates patient care facilities in Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson and Seneca, South Carolina.
“We look forward to tapping into the strengths of each company and implementing the best clinical and best business practices throughout all operations with a focus on continuously improving patient care and outcomes, while looking to protect the bottom line,” said Steve Hamontree, CPO, president of Prosthetic Care.
