OrPro Inc. has established a new fabrication center to service its eleven prosthetic and orthotic patient care facilities. The fabrication center moved from the company's long term location in Dayton, Ohio, to the new 7000 square foot location in Moraine, Ohio, a Dayton suburb. Fabrication for the Ohio and Indiana patient care centers was previously located in the same building as the Dayton patient care facility. According to OrPro, the separation of fabrication services from clinical services will provide improved quality, lower costs, reduced turnaround time, and consistent timely delivery of devices to better serve their patients. Joe Antorietto, OrPro's vice president of operations, who established the new center, stated, "Our fabrication manager, Ken Diskete, RTO, and our technician staffhave put together one of the most advanced prosthetic and orthotic fabrication facilities I have seen anywhere." OrPro also recently relocated its Richmond, Indiana, patient care facility into a new location at 1200 Chester Boulevard. According to Michael Hamontree, president of OrPro, "The new office in Richmond represents the sixth major investment in facility upgrades we have made in the last three years. This is a key component of our long-term initiative to improve the quality of all of our patient care facilities, making them more patient-friendly and efficient and enhancing the patient experience with OrPro. The next and largest investment will be the relocation of our Dayton patient care facility into the newly established Elizabeth Place medical center in August of this year." OrPro Inc., based in Irvine, California, operates O&P patient care facilities in Dayton, Middletown, Centerville, Springfield and Piqua, Ohio; Richmond, Indiana; Texarkana, Texas; Tulsa and Muskogee, Oklahoma; and Laurel and Waldorf, Maryland.
