Otto Bock HealthCare, Minneapolis, Minnesota, has appointed Sara Smucker as its new technical orthopedics territory sales representative. In her new position, Smucker is responsible for developing and implementing a successful sales strategy and fostering new growth in her assigned territory of Ohio.
“Sara comes to Otto Bock with over ten years of sales experience in both the communications and the pharmaceutical industries,” Brad Ruhl, CEO and president of Otto Bock U.S. HealthCare, said. “Her proven strengths in strategic business development and in building and maintaining customer relationships make her well suited to her new position.”
According to Otto Bock, in her previous position with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Smucker consistently recorded increased sales volumes and was recognized as a top-performing territory business manager in her region. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, with a major in marketing and a minor in communications.
