Touch Bionics, Livingston, Scotland, and Hilliard, Ohio, has won a 2010 Best of What’s New Award from science and technology magazine, Popular Science. Touch Bionics was recognized in the health category for its ProDigits partial hand system.
According to the Popular Science website, “for 23 years the Best of What’s New awards have gone to the 100 innovations that indicate where technology is headed in the future.” The winners will be published in the December issue of Popular Science, and can also be viewed online.
“We are honored to be recognized with a Best of What’s New Award from a world-leading publication like Popular Science,” Touch Bionics CEO Stuart Mead said in a company press release.
